Lattice creation example
Here’s another example of a TPU material tailored for Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing, applied to a custom shoe insole—the same one we recently insole retopology Starting from the STL file, we generated a strut-lattice structure using the implicit modeling capabilities of Altair Inspire. To introduce a gradual variation in lattice density, we applied a gradient field along the length of the insole. This method enables a controlled transition in mechanical properties, optimizing cushioning and support across different zones of the foot for enhanced comfort and performance.
